About Brian Vitello

Brian Vitello is not a career pundit or political insider. He’s a straight-talking CPA, entrepreneur, and lifelong political observer who’s spent decades building a business from scratch—only to look up and see democracy unraveling in real time.

Born in St. Louis to a young working-class family and raised in Aurora, Colorado, Brian put himself through college at Colorado State University, earning a master’s in tax and launching a successful career in accounting and consulting. He eventually founded and sold a global mobility tax services firm—but throughout it all, he remained obsessed with understanding power: who has it, how they use it, and what it’s doing to the country.

A voracious reader of political nonfiction and daily podcast listener, Brian created The Way Left as a place for real talk—where leftist ideas aren’t sanitized for sponsors and the questions mainstream media avoids are front and center. His voice is sharp, honest, and driven by a sense of urgency shared by millions of Americans who feel abandoned by both parties, silenced by corporate media, and exhausted by right-wing propaganda.

This podcast is his way of fighting back. For democracy. For truth. And for those still willing to speak out.

A Voice Beyond Corporate Filters

The Way Left is political media without billionaires, corporate filters, or centrist spin. Hosted by Brian Vitello, the podcast is built to cut through the noise and amplify unapologetically progressive voices.
